Collaboration schemes and use cases
Cooperlink distinguishes the following 4 types of collaboration:
- With guest partners
- In a business association
- Internal and remote access (cloudification)
- Quick and intermittent data sharing (visitors)
Collaboration with guest partners
Cooperlink allow your company to simplify your collaboration and exchange of information with your partners. They are granted the Cooperlink GUEST (free) license which gives them access to the free web application in which they benefit from many features to ensure effective collaboration.
CONSTRUCTION APPS
- Document management
- Correspondence management
- Datarooms
- Common data environment (CDE) for BIM projects according to ISO19650
- Business Process Management (BPM) - e.g. approval workflows for data sheets and plans
- Automated creation of administrative files (e.g. permits, as-built files, etc.)
BOOST (connectors & plugins)
- Integrated document management
- Collaborative emails / Oultook plugin
CONNECT (data workflows)
- Data synchronization between tools (e.g. sharepoint-letsbuild link)
- Automated project creation on Letsbuild when creating a new project on your document management system
Would your guest partners like to benefit from the same advantages as you?
- Your partners who also have Cooperlink can connect with you for free. This gives you end-to-end digital collaboration.
- As part of a specific project, your partners can also connect to the network. A dedicated license provides the necessary tools and support in this context.
Collaboration in business associations (joint ventures)
Your partners can integrate their own tools into the Cooperlink network. They might benefit from full ownership of their data.
In addition to the application cases described above:
- Common integrated platform for major projects and business associations
- Collaborative and secure alternative to the construction site server*
- Real-time archiving of project documents on the client's document management system
(*) The site server is expensive and poses serious problems in terms of safety. Each partner must request access and the impact on IT services is important (secure access, VPN, ...). Data is stored on physical servers in relatively unprotected locations. Finally, a site server is generally similar to a file and directory management, which limits the possibilities in terms of collaboration and automation.
Internal collaboration and remote access (cloudification)
Accessing your project resources on your company's internal tools frequently requires connecting through a VPN. Cooperlink allows your employees to access project information directly anywhere, anytime and securely.
- Access to project documentation anywhere, anytime securely (alternative to VPN)
- Internal collaborative projects
- Task Management / Scheduling
- Communication of information between teams / departments (e.g. provision of space for teams on site accessible from their tablet)
Quick & intermittent data sharing with visiting partners
Some partnerships do not require intensive collaboration. This is the case, for example, with calls for tenders, contracts and other documents that you distribute to your subcontractor or the documents that you transmit to future buyers. It is also necessary in some cases to be able to transmit a deliverable in the form of a large file and that requires some form of traceability.
Cooperlink offers the possibility to share data with visiting partners in one click. The latter are informed by email and they have access to an interactive web portal.
- Publication of calls for tenders, requests for information and contracts (RFx)
- Publishing of deliverables and large documents
- Alternative to WeTransferTM integrated with company tools, read receipts and expressions of interest
